Sascha joined the Hannover Finanz team as a managing partner in 2024. Prior to that, he spent 32 years at the management consultancy Roland Berger – ten years as head of the German office, ten years as global head of the restructuring division and as deputy chairman of the supervisory board.
Sascha has extensive knowledge in all areas of restructuring, performance improvement, M&A, financing and private equity, which he gained through developing the global practice at Roland Berger.
For many years, he has held a number of supervisory and advisory board mandates in family-owned companies. He is also a shareholder, managing director and founding member of the Heidelberg-based non-profit company for corporate restructuring MBH (HggUR), an honorary judge at the Higher Finance Court in Kassel and a member of the trade committee of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of North Hesse – Marburg.
Sascha completed an apprenticeship before studying economics at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg and business administration in Switzerland. He received his doctorate in finance in 1998.
